Wreaths Across America is a special program that helps us honor and remember our veterans—the brave men and women who served in the U.S. military to protect our freedom. Each December, volunteers all across the country place beautiful green wreaths on veterans’ graves to show respect and gratitude for their service.
This year, Harris Brook Elementary School will be part of this important mission! On Wednesday, November 5th, we’ll hold a “Day of Dollars” fundraiser to help buy wreaths for veterans. Every dollar we raise will go toward placing wreaths on the graves of those who served our country.
The motto of Wreaths Across America is “Remember, Honor, Teach.”
- We remember those who fought for our freedom.
- We honor those who still serve today.
- We teach the next generation about the value of freedom.
Let’s all work together to make a difference and show our support for America’s heroes!
