Red Ribbon Week 2025 at Harris Brook Elementary
In partnership with Ludlow CARES, Harris Brook proudly joined in celebrating Red Ribbon Week 2025 — and what a week it was! 🌟 Mrs. Sweeney and the LES PTO hosted our always-popular Great Inflatable Race, bringing smiles, laughter, and a healthy dose of friendly competition to our playground. A beloved special guest even hopped back to HBES in her fabulous frog costume, delighting students and staff alike!
Our week was packed with fun and learning. Families gathered on October 29th for a cozy Movie Night, while our second graders explored the world of cranberries through a hands-on lesson with Mrs. Dobek — be sure to ask them what they discovered! 🫐 Jiji the Penguin waddled in for a visit, snapping memorable photos with our students, and our talented fifth-grade band performed beautifully in the Halloween themed concert. To wrap up the week, Mrs. Dobek returned to help our fifth graders “Plant the Promise,” reinforcing the importance of healthy choices and community spirit.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make Red Ribbon Week such a success. ❤️ To our parents, families, and teachers — your enthusiasm and support brought extra sparkle to every event. A special thank you to Mrs. Dobek for her continued dedication to educating and inspiring our students, to Mrs. Sweeney and the LES PTO for their tireless work and fundraising efforts, and to Ludlow CARES for your ongoing commitment to our school and community. We are truly grateful for your unwavering support.
We hope everyone enjoyed Red Ribbon Week 2025 as much as we did — and we can’t wait to celebrate with you again next year! 🎈
