Prior to being named the Assistant Principal at HBES Mrs. Dobek in 2022, she had been the Paul R. Baird Middle School Assistant Principal since 1999. Prior to joining BMS she taught math, social studies, and religion at both Springfield Public and Parochial Schools beginning in 1988. She has also been an Adjunct Professor at American International College since 2014.
She grew up in Springfield and was educated in both public and parochial schools, Following her graduation from Cathedral High School in 1984 she attended Elms College where she earned a B.A. in Elementary Education in 1988. She continued her higher education at Springfield College earning her M.Ed. in Administration in 2000 and her C.A.G.S in Administration in 2010.
In her free time, she enjoys boating, hiking, snowmobiling & skiing in her favorite vacation spot, Rangeley Maine. Sitting on the front porch with a hot cup of coffee and taking in the beauty that surrounds the Saddleback Mountain Region of Maine is not only a blessing but also the best spot for retirement planning.
Mrs. Dobek is married with three beautiful children and two grandchildren.
